Dr. Mohammed Hadi, P.E. is a professor at Florida International University. He has about 35 year experience (25 years in academic and research institutions and 10 years in the private sector) in a wide variety of transportation engineering areas with emphasis on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), connected and automated vehicles, transportation system management and operations (TSM&O), data analytics, decision support systems and business intelligence in transportation engineering, simulation and dynamic assignment modeling, signal control, and performance measurements. Dr. Hadi produced data analytics and decision support tools and methods that have been used by transportation agencies He served as a member of the TRB Traffic Flow Theory and Characteristics Committee, the TRB Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Committee, the TRB Highway Capacity and Quality of Service committee, chair of ITS America Research Committee, a member of ITS Florida Board of Directors, and the chair of the TRB Simulation Sub-Committee (SimSub).
